Following on from the success of predecessor 10000000, You Must Build A Boat builds on the unique battle system with a sequel that is larger in content and style. The main action of the game is running through dungeons attempting to complete a set of objectives. Players battle by lining up tiles in a shifting puzzle in a manner similar to Tetris. The level constantly moves ahead, meaning the possibility of defeat is ever-present, leading to frantic puzzle solving. As a gameplay method, it works well and offers a surprising depth. Successful completion of challenges earns new rooms and new inhabitants which bring new advantages to your character. You Must Build A Boat provides a solid update from the previous title but with a rise in difficulty that can lead to some unfair and frustrating moments.
